Latest Obsessions

For over a year now I have not been able to get enough of spikes, studs, anything metal...it has turned into a full-blown obsession. However recently I find myself loving every polka dotted garment and luckily for me (not so lucky for my wallet :/) it seems as though every store has the same infatuation! I figured with this latest post why not combine my two new loves, and pair the ensemble with a hat I have had for years but can't seem to really work into many outfits...still not sure if I really like it here either, but its a start!

Recently I was able to catch up with my friend Liz, we both share the same name (elizabeth rose), love of the beach, and obviously fashion! She always has the BEST accessories and agreed

to a photo-shoot as long as she wasn't the main subject. We had a great time catching up and shooting some pics and she was such a good sport during the whole process. (she even took some shots of me that will be up later this week!) I hope you enjoy

You may recognize Elise from (here) except now she has added a few lovely turquoise streaks to her hair =) i love how it turned out, I will never toughen up and dye my hair but I can't help but envy others who can pull it off so well! As long as I have known Elise I have been in LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE with her room, (i constantly say its straight out of a magazine and had to shoot her here!)  she recently relocated to a new apartment and instantly took over and added all her own charm. Her closet amazes me, and all the trinkets she has displayed she has found from numerous thrift stores or are gifts from friends. One particular gift is a white and gold beaded purse that is so fun and adds so much character to any ensemble. Another envious aspect to Elise's room are the gorgeous dried bouquets hanging around in clusters throughout her space, just another creative endeavor she is adding to her long list! 

As much as Elise's clothes tell a story and express her creativity so does her room, right now my room is not a clear depiction of my style... it screams hoarder and organized chaos...lets hope my style doesn't reflect that :)

Polyvore

Recently I was able to catch up with my roooms Katie (Cupcaque) and she shared with me 

 polyvore. I had heard of it before but never gave it a try till the other day and now I am

hooked!

I love the color coral and my sister Christine just surprised me with these AMAZING coral flats

that I have had my eye on. I was so excited and can't wait to shoot them for the blog =)

Right now I have to get busy packing because I leave for Florida Sunday! (I have been in NY for the past 2

days ahh) Hopefully I will get to post again before I leave but I have friends visiting both

Friday and Saturday! yikes!

I am so fortunate to have such great friends and family who let me torture them, Kaitlan being one of them =)

We hadn't see one another in months and decided to set up a lunch date and I may have snuck in there

that I would need some help with a photo project.

(Pretty soon none of my friends will be agreeing to do lunch anymore if I keep this up!)

As you can tell in these pictures Kaitlan is always incredibly stylish and can pull off any trend with ease.

 So it was to no surprise that she arrived at my apartment completely conquering the denim on denim look,

something I am incredibly envious of =) 

Each element of her outfit was so different but worked so well together: her denims were

the perfect shades to off-set one another, the jewelry kept the look fun and quirky

 while the leather jacket, sealed the deal!
